Decision times for Champs

July 25th

Again, Champs 2024 is a day by day situation due to heavy smoke and particles in the air. 

Friday's events will be determined go, delay or cancel by 3:30pm Friday, July 26, 2024

Saturday and Sunday's events will be determined go, delay or cancel by 5:30am with updates for delayed meet until 10:00am.

MVSL is using the AIRnow reading as it is the most accurate information for Sunnyside.  

The City of Sunnyside will close the pool for any readings 200+, readings below are being left to the determination of the MVSL or parents of swimmers.   Parents can choose to not allow their swimmers to swim in yellow or orange, the MVSL will cancel or delay a meet at a reading of 151.  The MVSL will provide updates for all delayed meets hourly/bi-hourly.
